N18027 260x195 Gentlemen Broncos bucks shot at being funny

At first glance, a movie that includes science fiction, home schooling, bad fashion, small-town Utah, an appealing teen boy and a pompous writer looks like it might have some redeeming comedic features.

Then there’s “Gentlemen Broncos.” The only redeeming things about this film are the music and the fact that its actors turn in some decent performances. Because the script and the editing are probably the weakest I’ve seen since “Showgirls.” At least “Showgirls” is so bad you can revel in its craptacularness. There’s no reveling in anything here.
