Daniel Craig didn’t quite kill it but did show off his comedy skills for his first-ever Saturday Night Live hosting stint.
His appearance came just weeks before his next Bond blockbuster, Skyfall, opens in theaters.
Craig’s best effort last night was hawking a 50th anniversary James Bond DVD set that included the lesser-known, not as sexy Bond Girls, who we all somehow missed.

And so begins the first long-awaited look at the upcoming 007 flick, “Skyfall.” However, those looking for more information regarding the story of the new James Bond movie will be sorely disappointed. The first teaser is simply nothing more than that: Gorgeous shots of the English countryside along with MI6’s top agent looking as dashing and daring as usual.
EW’s own Ken Tucker made a repeat visit to The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson on Thursday and as usual, our plain-talking critic held nothing back. In the clip below, hear Tucker tease one of his favorite shows of 2011 (he has excellent taste) and who won’t be making his Best Of list later this month.
