Brad Furman has signed on to direct an as-of-yet-untitled biopic of former drug lord Pablo Escobar, says a story at The Hollywood Reporter.

The script for the project arrives from Matt Aldrich, author of the recently-sold spec script Father Daughter Time: A Tale of Armed Robbery and Eskimo Kisses, which Matt Damon has been rumored to both direct and star in.
