Walter Hill has signed on to direct Headshot for Warner Bros., Aint It Cool News is reporting.
The word arrives directly from the film’s star, Sylvester Stallone, who adds:
“We’ve been on the same track since ‘The Driver’, then ’48 Hrs’ didn’t happen so here we are almost 35 years later, I’m finally driving with Walter Hill.”

Variety reports that Oscar-winning The King’s Speech director Tom Hooper is in talks to direct a big screen adaptation of the musical “Les Mirables” for Universal Pictures.
The musical is based on the Victor Hugo novel, which focuses on the struggles of ex-convict Jean Valjean and his experience of redemption.
Cameron Mackintosh, who produced the musical’s original British stage run, will produce along with Working Title’s Tim Bevan and Eric Fellner.

Jon Turteltaub, who directed the two “National Treasure” movies, is in negotiations to direct and will also produce with Andrew Panay.

Actress Drew Barrymore has signed up to direct her second feature film which is a romantic comedy “How to Be Single”.
