Joel Edgerton has joined the cast of Baz Luhrmann’s The Great Gatsby in the role of Tom Buchanan, Deadline reports.
In the film, based on the F. Scott Fitzgerald classic, Leonardo DiCaprio will play Jay Gatsby and Tobey Maguire wil play Nick Carraway, the narrator in the novel. Carey Mulligan will play Gatsby’s love, Daisy Buchanan, who is married to the wealthy Tom Buchanan with Isla Fisher as Myrtle Wilson.
Australian actor Joel Edgerton will play a special operative in director Kathryn Bigelow and writer Mark Boal’s new Osama bin Laden movie, reports 24 Frames .
