The 2014 FIFA World Cup is setting records for ESPN, which scored its highest-rated World Cup opener when 4.435 million viewers tuned into the Brazil-Croatia telecast on Thursday.

Keith Olbermann might be heading back to ESPN. 

The sports/political commentator is nearing a deal to host a late night talk show on ESPN2 (the sister network he helped to launch over 20 years ago), Variety reports. The official announcement could come as soon as Wednesday, though an ESPN spokesman declined to comment and a premiere date is not yet known.
