Eccentric Spanish director Nacho Vigalondo has tackled time travel (Timecrimes), web stalkers (Open Windows), alien invasions (Extraterrestrial), the apocalypse (The ABCs of Death), and alternate reality dopplegangers (V/H/S: Viral), but he’s about to put his stamp on some pretty big spectacle and he’s bringing with him a pretty big star.
