Variety reports that Darren Aronofsky ( Black Swawn ) will direct “Hobgoblin,” a drama pilot in development at HBO.
The pilot will be written by Michael Chabon and his wife, Ayelet Waldman. It is about “a group of con men and magicians who use their skills of deception to help defeat Hitler and the Germans during WWII.”
