It’s a little difficult to think of the Harold & Kumar movies as “auteur-driven,” but screenwriters Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg have been at the helm of the series since the beginning, and it’s because of them that now three films seem connected to one another, and cohesive, even for a series about a pair of mischievous potheads.
