The nominations for the 2013 Screen Actor’s Guild Awards have been announced, and they’re filled with plenty of surprises.

For Best Ensemble in a Motion Picture were “Les Miserables,” “Argo,” “Lincoln,” The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel” and “Silver Linings Playbook.” That left out such Oscar favorites as the Osama bin Laden manhunt drama “Zero Dark Thirty” along with Quentin Tarantino’s “Django Unchained.”
