A teaser poster Paddington Bear has turned up online, courtesy of Bleeding Cool. Announced some time back, the film will be directed by Paul King with a script by Hamish McColl.

The classic Michael Bond series of books tells the story of a talking bear who us adopted by a London family when they find him lost at Paddington Station.

Paddington Bear Movie: Book To Be Developed Into Feature Film

Coming off the paws of Clifford the Big Red Dog getting the big-screen treatment, across the pond, another beloved children’s character is being adapted into a feature film.

According to Variety, Studiocanal is partnering with “Harry Potter” bigwig David Heyman to adapt Michael Bond’s Paddington Bear. Paul King (“The Mighty Boosh”) will direct the movie, which will be half-CGI, half-live-action.
