Mob wives, devious maids and a magical Manhattan are among the pilot ideas just ordered by ABC.

The quartet of one-hour pilot orders include a new drama from Desperate Housewives creator Marc Cherry, a conspiracy thriller from Prison Break creator Paul Scheuring and a mafia drama from Dexter writer Melissa Rosenberg. Here’s the rundown:
