Apple has reported that its profits and sales jumped in the second quarter, citing increasing demands for the company’s smart phones and computers.
In Apple’s fiscal 2010 second quarter, it earned $3.07 billion, an increased of nearly 90 percent from $1.62 billion in the same period a year earlier, Xinhua reported.

Central Coalfields Limited (CCL) Thursday announced profit of Rs.1,500 crore in the 2009-2010 financial year.
