Oscar-winning director Kathryn Bigelow was already in progress on an Osama bin Laden movie project when the news came on Sunday that the 9/11 terrorist mastermind was dead. The Osama bin Laden movie, titled Kill bin Laden is now expected to be fast-tracked to completion to take advantage of the raised level of public interest in such a project.
David Koepp has been brought aboard to rewrite Paramount’s Untitled Jack Ryan Project , reports Deadline .
Though news broke earlier this year that Clear and Present Danger screenwriter Steve Zaillian would rewrite the Adam Cozad script (originally by Hossein Amini), the article says that Zaillian left the project before starting and that the rewrite is now completely in the hands of Koepp.
