Steven Spielberg has been tapped by Warner Bros. to direct the long-gestating adaptation of the nostalgia-heavy Ready Player One. It’s currently scheduled to be his next movie after The BFG, which will be arriving in 2016 so don’t expect this until 2017 at the earliest.
