The reboot of the classic comedy franchise stars Ed Helms as Rusty Griswold, son of Clark (played in the original movies by Chevy Chase). According to the Hollywood Reporter, Applegate has signed on to play Rusty’s strong-willed wife “who might be losing interest in him.”
