Last year, we lost one of the most legendary female movie scribes, rom-com of auteur, Nora Ephron.

Ephron, whose famous films include “Sleepless in Seattle,” “You’ve Got Mail” and, of course, “When Harry Met Sally” passed away after a battle with leukemia at the age of 71 on June 26, 2012.

Wedding bells rang out in Chicago Saturday as The View co-host Sherri Shepherd married TV writer Lamar ‘Sal’ Sally.

The couple, who had been dating for a little more than a year and became engaged in December 2010, held the star-studded bash at the Fairmont Hotel in Sherri’s home town.

Sally Field to Star in Steven Spielberg’s Lincoln

Two-time Academy Award winner Sally Field will star as Mary Todd Lincoln, wife to the 16th President of the United States, in DreamWorks Studios’ Lincoln to be directed by Steven Spielberg. The announcement was made today by Spielberg and Stacey Snider, Co-Chairman and CEO of DreamWorks Studios.

Sally Field joins Daniel Day-Lewis, who has been cast to play Abraham Lincoln in the Spielberg film.
