Arrested Development may get another lease on life on the small screen: EW has confirmed that the producers of Arrested Development – the critically-acclaimed but short-lived comedy from Mitchell Hurwitz — are in talks with Showtime and Netflix about airing a limited number of original episodes that will update fans on the Bluth clan.

Showtime orders third season of ‘The Big C’

Showtime has ordered a third season of The Big C, a comedy starring Laura Linney as a suburban momma who has been diagnosed with terminal cancer.

The next 10 episodes will go into production starting early next year for debut sometime in the early spring.

‘The Borgias’ finishes strong on Showtime

The freshman season of The Borgias finished strong for Showtime on Sunday: The period drama that stars Jeremy Irons averaged 810,000 viewers at 10 p.m. and 1.1 million viewers for the night. Overall this season, the series about a crime family in Italy circa 1492 lured 3.3 million weekly viewers and outperformed the highest-rated season of ‘The Borgias’ finishes strong on Showtime
