Paul Greengrass has been offered Columbia Picture’s untitled big screen adapation of the harrowing true-life ordeal of Captain Richard Phillips. Deadline has word that the director (who was connected to the film last week ) will likely make the project his next, teaming with leading man Tom Hanks.

Warner Bros. has released the trailer for their upcoming Dolphin Tale and you can check it out in the player below, courtesy of Yahoo! Movies .

Starring Morgan Freeman, Harry Connick Jr., Ashley Judd, Kris Kristofferson, Nathan Gamble and Winter the dolphin as herself, the film will hit 2D and 3D theaters on September 23, 2011.
