    Possibly the most iconic use of music in the whole Quentin Tarantino oeuvre, QT trotted out the propulsive 1972 daytime AM favorite from Stealers Wheel to soundtrack, of all things, a captured cop getting his ear sliced off.     russelldjango Russell Replacing Costner in Tarantinos Django UnchainedQuentin Tarantino is reuniting with two actors he’s worked with before. Kurt Russell, who starred in Tarantino’s Death Proof, is in talks to replace Kevin Costner in the filmmaker’s Django Unchained while Kill Bill Vol. 2 co-star Laura Cayouette is on board as well, says Heat Vision.

    They will be joining Leonardo DiCaprio, Jamie Foxx, Christoph Waltz, Samuel L. Jackson, Gerald McRaney

    Will Smith may be up for the lead in Quentin Tarantino’s Django Unchained , says a story at The Hollywood Reporter .

    Quentin Tarantino’s agency WME has confirmed that Quentin Tarantino has turned in the final draft of his spaghetti Western to The Weinstein Company. The movie, to be titled Django Unchained , will be produced by Stacey Sher ( Pulp Fiction ) and Pilar Savone.

    WME also confirmed to Thompson on Hollywood that Inglourious Basterds star Christoph Waltz will reunite with Tarantino for the film.
