One of the first major viral events of Comic-Con 2011 has been spotted in the form of the below poster. Advertising a company called Armadyne, the ARG involves a (pending) application process that looks for “zero g welders, mega-structure engineers, quantum networkers” and experts in “zero g coupling and multi-generational planning”.

Three new websites have launched, tied to the release of Green Lantern on June 17th.

A full-page ad in the most recent issue of the “Green Lantern” comic (spotted by Bleeding Cool ), points readers in the direction of Newton Astronomers , a viral ARG fictionally dedicated to finding extraterrestrial life in the universe.

ComingSoon.net received a viral clip for J.J. Abrams’ Super 8 in the mail today. The clip came in a Kodachrome box that included a Super 8mm cartridge. While it was on film, the package also included flash drive with the clip so we’re able to show it to you below! The clip looks to be tie in with the movie’s Editing Room viral site.

This weekend at the San Francisco WonderCon, Disney•Pixar debuted a new viral for Cars 2 in the form of a car parked outside the Moscone Center that featured the Twitter handle @ChromeLeaks .
