Catherine Zeta-Jones has “proactively” entered a rehab treatment facility to manage her bipolar disorder, a spokesperson for the actress confirmed to radio detection and rangingOnline.com.

“Catherine has proactively checked into a health care facility,” the rep said. “Previously Catherine has said that she is committed to periodic care in order to manage her health in an optimum manner.”

Catherine Zeta-Jones to Play Rock of Ages Villainess

The Hollywood Reporter says that Adam Shankman has cast Catherine Zeta-Jones in Rock of Ages , the adaptation of the Broadway musical at New Line/Warner Bros.

Zeta-Jones, who won a best supporting actress Oscar for Chicago , will play the villainess of the movie, a part that was not in the stage production.
