Tata Motors that has displayed its Magic Iris at AutoExpo 2010 at New Delhi now releases the Iris in Jaipur that is aimed to make public transportation more convenient and comfortable.
This public car costs at Rs 1.98 lakh that incorporates latest micro-MPV which runs on 611cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled diesel engine. The vehicle has a huge tank with capacity of 10-liter fuel with its top speed for longer distance is 55kmph.
Talking about this public car, an official of the company marked, “The Tata Magic Iris is for public transportation, offering safer and more comfortable mobility for those who depend on three-wheelers. Its spacious car-like cabin can comfortably seat four passengers – three at the back and one in the front beside the driver. With its car-like on-road stability and sheet metal roof it provides car-like safety.”
This vehicle has all the safety measures for its passengers and moreover there is no door on the right hand side of the vehicle. Iris comes as a four-wheel substitute to India’s three-wheel rickshaws that can accommodate 5 adults at a time. Magic Iris makes you experience a noiseless ride.
