Rosie O’Donnell may have moved her new OWN show out to Chicago, but the big Broadway supporter in her hasn’t forgotten her NYC stage roots. She’s flying the entire cast of Priscilla: Queen of the Desert out to the windy city to perform a medley of “It’s Raining Men” and “I Will Survive” on The Rosie Show on Thursday, Oct. 13, during the show’s premiere week.

According to the show’s reps, Priscilla will be the first musical to appear on Rosie, a hint that there will likely be more in the future. If you remember, O’Donnell would routinely highlight stage productions on The Rosie O’Donnell Show, which ran from 1996 to 2002. I alone recall seeing bits from Cats, Aida, Chicago, Mamma Mia!, Kiss Me Kate, The Full Monty, Saturday Night Fever, Putting it Together and Thoroughly Modern Millie on Rosie’s old talk show back in the day. And what other popular talk show host would have had Billy Crudup on her couch to promote The Elephant Man? GO. ROSIE. The new series premieres on Oct. 10 on OWN and airs weekdays at 7 p.m.
