Ambien-induced romps with Tiger Woods have sent celebrity mistres Rachel Uchitel to the Halls of Celebrity Rehab — a turn that will torpedo any chance the former Manhattan party hostess had of bringing her “business skills” to Season 4 of NBC’s Celebrity Apprentice.
Series executive producer Donald Trump has fired Tiger Woods No. 1 mistress before she was even officially hired to be on his show after it was announced that Uchitel will appear on the beleaguered fourth season of Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew, airing on VH1.
Trump was interested in signing Uchitel for the next Celebrity Apprentice season, but he changed his mind after she agreed to appear on the other reality show.
“We no longer have interest in Rachel,” his camp said in a statement obtained Monday. “Rachel Uchitel very much wanted to be on ‘Celebrity Apprentice.’ She asked us, we did not ask her. We were considering it but have 10 people vying for each and every spot. Look what happened to Joan Rivers, Trace Adkins, Piers Morgan, and others who have been on the show.”
Uchitel will be seen in the VH1 reality rehab later this year, where she will undergo treatment and therapy for her reported addiction “to love and painkillers” along with other low-level stargazers, including former Janice Dickinson, heir Jason “Gummi Bear Davis, Jeremy “The Kidnappers Made Me Smoke Crack” London.
“It’s a terrible decision,” Trump bellowed to TMZ. “We have zero interest in her now. Look at what ‘Celebrity Apprentice’ did for Piers Morgan. He’s getting Larry King’s job. She made a bad mistake. Celebrity Apprentice is a huge show and ‘Celebrity Rehab’ is not. I have 10 people who want to be on the show for every slot that’s available,” he continued. “I’m moving on.”
