Sometimes, even pirates get picked on by others. Case in point: Pirate Captain (voiced by Hugh Grant), who has aspirations to become the Pirate of the Year, but gets laughed at by the dastardly Black Bellamy (Jeremy Piven). Will PIrate Captain succeed in his quest? You’ll have to wait until “Pirates! A Band of Misfits” gets released on Apri 27 to find out.
Directed by Peter Lord, the man behind 2000′s “Chicken Run,” and Jeff Newitt, “Band of Misfits” also features the vocal talents of Brendan Gleeson, Salma Hayek, Martin Freeman and David Tennant. It’s an Aardman Animations production (Wallace and Gromit, y’all), so you know it’ll be good.
