‘The Price is Right’ Big Wheel needs to go home because it’s clearly drunk

The Big Wheel on “The Price is Right” is clearly out of control and must be stopped. On the episode of the game show that aired Monday (Oct. 17), three consecutive players all spun $1 on the wheel, each winning $1,000 and leading to a spin-off to find out who got top spot in the Showcase Showdown.

It’s the first time in the show’s history such a thing has happened — after all, it’s a genuine shock when just one contestant makes it to $1 on any given day — so as you can imagine, the internet basically lost its collective mind after the three big wins.

It is definitely one of the biggest mic drop moments in “The Price is Right” history, but is it the one defining moment for the series? That’s something left up to the individual viewer. But for the sake of argument, let’s take a look at some of the best moments from “The Price is Right’s” long history.

Does the three-way Big Wheel tie outshine these moments? If only Aaron Paul had been involved, there would be no doubt.

Whatever the case though, “The Price is Right” has clearly been making memories for a long time and will continue to do so for years to come. And it’s going to be hard to top a three-way $1 Big Wheel tie. That is, unless they manage to get all six spinners in a given day to win the big money.
