Welsh singer Tom Jones has made an appeal to his female fans not to throw their knickers at him while he is on stage, as he says it is wrong.
According to Times Magazine, Jones, 70, claims that he feels insulted when they throw their underwear at him and that he wishes they would stop doing it especially when he is singing a ballad.
“It’s just wrong. I’m laying my soul down here. And people start laughing,” the Telegraph quoted him as saying.
Meanwhile, Jones’s forthcoming album has not been well received by some of his bosses at Island Records.
