Fast National ratings for Friday, Nov. 18, 2011
It’s starting to feel like a broken record, but certainly one the folks as CBS are interested in hearing. The drama block of “A Gifted Man,” “CSI: NY” and “Blue Bloods” propelled the network to another Friday night ratings victory.
Perhaps the biggest news is NBC’s “Grimm” and its success despite a challenging time slot and a disappointing lead in from “Chuck.” The show of dark fairy tales delivered 5.4 million viewers and tied for the 18-49 demo time slot title at 1.6.
CBS averaged 10.1 million viewers and a 6.4 rating/11 share, easily beating their rivals. ABC secured second place with 5.2 viewers and a 3.4 rating/6
share. NBC followed (4.8 million, 3.1/5) with FOX (3.2 million, 2.0/3)
and CW (1.7 million, 1.1/2) in its familiar last place spot.
In the adults 18-49 demographic, CBS won with a 1.6, followed by an NBC and ABC tie (1.3), FOX at 1.2 and The CW scoring a 0.7.
