Viggo Mortensen Out of Snow White and the Huntsman
The Hollywood Reporter says that Viggo Mortensen (“The Lord of the Rings”) has broken off talks for him to star in Universal Pictures’ Snow White and the Huntsman . He would have starred opposite Kristen Stewart (“The Twilight Saga”) and Charlize Theron.
Commercials helmer Rupert Sanders is making his directorial debut on the film, which will feature Stewart as Snow White and Charlize Theron as the Evil Queen.
Mortensen was in talks to play the huntsman, though apparently the two sides were too far apart. During the negotiations, the actor flirted with playing the villain in Zack Snyder’s new Superman movie, but it is not known if that will lead to anything at this point.
