Variety is reporting that Vince Vaughn is joining the cast of the independent drama, Lay the Favorite , to be directed by Stephen Frears.
The cast also includes Bruce Willis, Rebecca Hall, Joshua Jackson and Frank Grillo.
The film is based on the life of Beth Raymer, a professional gambler who started off as a cocktail waitress in Las Vegas but soon rose to become one of the world’s best gamblers. After falling in love, Raymer soon begins to re-evaluate her life and the profession she has chosen.
