Vivek, Sanjay End Cold War with Hug

Vivek Oberoi and Sanjay Dutt are back to being good old friends again. The two, whose relation went sour a couple of years back, made up at a recent event and are all praises about each other now.

Tension cropped up between the actors after Vivek reportedly made some rude comments about Sanju baba’s then girlfriend Maanyata (whom he married thereafter, amidst much controversies). Sanju, who was head over heels in love with Maanyata at that point, got so upset about Vivek’s comments that he practically severed all ties with the junior actor.

But recently, the big hearted Sanju baba, went up to Vivek himself and hugged him putting an end to the tension between them. Vivek apparently was overwhelmed by Sanjay’s gesture and returned a big hug too.

“It was quite a shock to see Sanjay walk up to Vivek and give him a hug. Sanjay’s gesture was quite sweet, and Vivek too returned him a big hug. It looked like one big happy family once again.” said an eyewitness.

“Vivek is very touched by this magnanimous gesture of Sanju. In the past he had sent SMSes to clear the misunderstanding, but Sanjay Dutt seemed very upset with him then. Now that everything is sorted, Vivek is happy to revive his old friendship with Dutt.” said a source.

Vivek’s own reaction to Sanjay’s gesture was one of extreme happiness mixed with relief. “Sanju Baba has been an icon for me since I was a kid! My father shares a very special relationship with him too. During “Shootout at Lokhandwala”, Sanju treated me like his kid brother, with much love and affection. I have nothing but love and respect for him.” The actor said.
