Looking a little like Aphex Twin’s Come to Daddy with one kickass little girl who could easily be the younger sibling of Ellen Page in Hard Candy is the video for Skrillex’s (AKA Sonny Moore) First of the Year (Equinox). Moore’s work combines a rich dubstep bass with glitchy industrial-slanted synth, and the occasional electro house beat. Short filmmaker and music video maestro Tony Truand directed the video. Creepy kids enveloped in a dark and twisted world seem to be his thing – and his other projects are well worth a watch.
