Whitney Houston‘s daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown, told Oprah Winfrey her late mother was her “everything,” and that she’s “doing as good as I possibly can” following the singer’s death last month at 48.

The talk show icon sat down with Whitney’s 19-year-old daughter with Bobby Brown on Sunday for her OWN show Oprah’s Next Chapter, less than a month after the I Will Always Love You singer was found dead in her suite in the Beverly Hills Hilton during Grammys weekend.

“She’s always with me,” Bobbi Kristina, the sole heiress to Whitney’s fortune, told Oprah of her late mother. “Her spirit is strong, it’s a strong spirit. I can hear her voice in spirit talking to me — ‘I’m right here, I’ve got you’ — I can always feel her with me. I feel her pass through me all the time.

“She always asked me, ‘Do you need me?’ And I caught myself, out of nowhere, I didn’t even know I said it, I said, ‘I’ll always need you.'”
