Budweiser may have reserved its usual share of Super Bowl ad time on Sunday night, but there was one beer commercial that most of America didn’t get to see. According to Deadspin, an Old Milwaukee advertisement starring Will Ferrell aired in the town of North Platte, Neb.

Ferrell is no stranger to Old Milwaukee beer — back in December, he was spotted in several commercials promoting the product (the actor did the spots free of charge; apparently, Ron Burgundy has learned his milk lesson and is now going for more booze). This time around, citizens of North Platte watched as Ferrell walked through a corn field wearing shorts, stopping in front of the camera to catch a slightly shaken Old Milwaukee.

Super Bowl. Cornfields. Beer. Will Ferrell. It’s everything an American football fan could ask for. However, don’t expect any Old Milwaukee in Ferrell’s next film, the Spanish comedy, “Casa de Mi Padre” (in theaters March 16). Perhaps there will be Dos Equis, instead?
