Looks like Zachary Quinto’s eyebrows are boldly going where no man wants them to go…again.

Zachary Quinto’s eyebrows aren’t living long or prospering!

To Trekkie’s delight, J.J. Abrams’s “Star Trek” sequel is officially underway! However, Quinto’s return to the arched browed role of Spock has one serious downside: awkward grooming.

“My eyebrows are shaved and I do my hair in a way that people don’t know I actually have my horrible Spock hair,” he told E! Online’s Marc Malkin.

But on set — his Spock brows in full glory — Quinto said “it’s been an incredible return to that world.”

After the gangbuster response to Abrams’s 2009 “Star Trek” — somehow taking the franchise into the uncharted quadrant of cool — audiences have been eagerly awaiting some precious news about the sequel.

So you’ll be happy to know that even its cast was left in the dark until just a month before shooting.

“It was the middle of December and finally I had to be like, ‘We need to read the script,'” Quinto said. “They waited a pretty long time, but that’s because they were working on it. There was a writer’s strike the first time so they weren’t able to let the script evolve. Now it’s really changing…on a regular basis.”

But, for the skeptical Trekkies out there, Quinto did say that the newbies — Benedict Cumberbatch, Peter Weller and Alice Eve — “have folded in so beautifully and brought a whole new level of intelligence and sensitivity.”
