This just in: Zack Snyder has been tapped direct to Superman’s next flight on the big screen.
Who do you want to see play the “Man of Steel?”
The 300 and Dawn of Dead lensman has been chosen to helm the new Superman flick, which is in development with Christopher Nolan and David Goyer.
“I’ve been a big fan of the character for a long time, he’s definitely the king of all superheroes, he’s the one. It’s early yet, but I can tell you that what David and Chris have done with the story so far definitely has given me a great insight into a way to make him feel modern. I’ve always felt he was kind of awesome. I’ll finish Sucker Punch and get right at it,” an ecstatic Synder announced in a statement Tuesday.
Snyder beat out a shortlist of directors that included Darren Aronofsky (The Wrestler), Duncan Jones (Moon), Ben Affleck (The Town), and Matt Reeves (Cloverfield) for the coveted role.
