Joel Schumacher Takes The Hive
Joel Schumacher has signed on to direct a suspense thriller called The Hive , Variety reports.
The film is said to focus on a female emergency line operator who, in trying to help a young girl, comes up against a killer from her own past. The script arrives from Rich D’Ovidio, who previously wrote Exit Wounds and Thir13en Ghosts .
Schumacher most recently directed the drama Twelve and is currently finishing up Trespass , another thriller which will star Nicolas Cage and Nicole Kidman.
