Sony Ericsson to Roll Out Xperia X8

Sony Ericsson has introduced its new Xperia X8. It is claimed as a great entertainment smartphone. It is expected that the handset will be able to extend the overall brand appeal of Xperia to the market.

The handset’s multimedia capabilities can be seen through the 3.0-inch HVGA capacitive touch-screen that supports the resolution of 320 x 480 pixels. The mobile device is equipped with the effective four-corner user interface. One can take pictures with a 3.2 mega-pixel camera. Users will be able to take advantage of an FM radio as well as full Web browser. Apart from that it is supportive to video streaming and provides quick access to social networks via Timescape as well as board music player with TrackID and PlayNow.

The handset integrates a 600MHz processor and is based on Android operating system 1.6. Also the handset offers Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity. The memory of the handset is 128MBs which can be expanded with the help of a microSD card up to 16GBs.

The handset is available in two-toned color choices, such as aqua blue and white, dark blue and white, pink and white, as well as silver and white.

As for the price and availability of the handset, they are still not known.
