Two major characters are finally going to meet up in ‘Game of Thrones’ Season 7

Okay, everyone take deep breaths and try to stay conscious. We can survive this.

And by this, we mean the news that Jon Snow (Kit Harington) and Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) are finally going to be breathing the same air and sharing screen time together in Season 7 of “Game of Thrones.”

For six whole seasons, we’ve waited for Dany to get her act together and take her dragons across the Narrow Sea to conquer Westeros and take back the throne. Honestly, it was beginning to feel like she wouldn’t make it back to her homeland until the final few episodes of the series, but now we have actual photographic proof that we won’t have to wait that long.

Thanks to some stealthy camera work from fans in Spain, we know that Jon and Daenerys will be meeting up in Season 7 in some kind of castle/battlement setting.

Since more characters than we can count live in castles by the sea on “Game of Thrones,” it’s hard to say whether Jon and Dany are in King’s Landing, Dorne, the Iron Islands or even somewhere new.

The exact setting is less exciting than the many, many possibilities this scene presents. Will Jon find out that he’s actually a Targaryen instead of a Stark? If so, will he meet Dany’s dragons, and how will they respond to his Targaryen blood? Is there a possible romance/alliance in the works here? Most importantly of all, will these two team up to take down Cersei (Lena Headey) and win back the Iron Throne?

At this point, we freaking out too much to even speculate properly, but we’re keeping our fingers crossed we get more photos of this dynamic duo soon!

“Game of Thrones” is set to return in the summer of 2017.
