Watch: Get in the Team Spirit With New 'Power Rangers' and 'Fate of the Furious&…

It’s starting to feel like Spring outside, almost a month early, so today we’ve got a couple international trailers to get you excited about two of the hottest movies of the next season.

Power Rangers

First up we’ve got a movie out next month about team building. And we mean literal building, as in giant robot formation.

Based on the cheesy old TV show Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers, this looks to be a major improvement in terms of production quality. The latest trailer comes from Japan, where much of the content of the original series originated, and it will be interesting to hear how this version does over there. It doesn’t seem like it’s being sold any different in this spot than it has been in America. Even the jokey tone is retained. You can go go see Power Rangers when it hits U.S. theaters on March 24. Japanese audiences have to wait until July.

The Fate of the Furious

Now we’ve got a movie out in two months about a team breaking apart. In the eighth installment of the Fast and the Furious franchise, it appears Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) is back to being the bad guy. Why that is, we’re not exactly sure, but it seems to have something to do with Charlize Theron’s new villain.

The rest of the crew, including Dwayne Johnson, hopefully brings Dom back where he belongs, racing cars and doing extraordinary stunts with Michelle Rodriguez, Ludacris and the rest of the gang, including Lucas Black from Tokyo Drift. Most of the world gets this sequel the same week, with the U.S. release being April 14.
