When Camille Met Kayte: Kelsey Grammer’s Ex Meets His Future Bride

Can you say awkward? Spitfire Real Housewives of Beverly Hills socialite Camille Grammer has met her replacement.

The Frasier star split from his wife of 13 years last summer and is now engaged to marry his new girlfriend Kayte Walsh. In fact, Kelsey, plans to wed the former flight attendant next month — even though his divorce from Camille, the third Mrs. Grammer has not yet been finalized.

Camille has asked for his request to be denied until they reach an official divorce settlement and the split has been playing out on air in the most recent episodes of the former actress’ Bravo reality series. Nonetheless, the love triangle of sorts came together for the first time this week (Get your head out of the gutter….) while Kelsey and Kayte were in Los Angeles to visit two of the actor’s four children. Camille admits the meeting was — er — frosty at first, but says she eventually warmed up to Kayte, 29, who she describes as “nice.”

“I saw Kelsey and I met Kayte for the first time. It was a little uncomfortable at first, but then I met her and I shook her hand and I looked into her eyes and I thought, ‘She’s OK, she’s nice.’ … “ Camille told PopEater.com on Friday. “It’s really important for me and Kelsey to be friends and amicable for our children’s sake. Because you know, we have to co-parent and that’s the correct way to do it.”
