Juan Pablo Galavis

“Bachelor” star Juan Pablo fell for Osmariel Villalobos after seeing her photo on Instagram. “I asked, ‘Who’s that girl?’” he tells People. A mutual friend warned him, “If you meet her in real life, you’ll die. She’s great!” So he followed her on Instagram without thinking too much about it.

That is until Villalobos posted a video of herself dancing with her nephew on May 13. “I thought it was cute, so I commented on her Instagram. She replied to me, and then I wrote to her on private message. We talked about her nephew, and she said that she was spoiling him! We exchanged numbers and then we started texting each other. And it started that way.”

So what was this magical video that she posted on Instagram? Watch below.

They say a picture is worth a thousand words, so flipping through a person’s Instagram no doubt gives someone a wealth of information. So much more than any dating site could possibly offer. Juan Pablo says, “She cares for people. She’s very family-oriented. That was important to me. We have a lot in common: we love Reggaeton music and dance all the time. We sing in the car – it’s horrible singing, but we do it anyway. She likes sports, too. We just have a lot in common.”

Ed Swiderski

Former “Bachelor” star Ed Swiderski had better luck than Juan Pablo on his season, but it wasn’t long before he and Jillian Harris parted ways. However, not long afterwards Ed met his future wife on Twitter.

Swiderski introduced himself to Natalie Bombke with a tweet and the rest, as they say, is history. Swiderski and the Chicago TV anchor have been married since July 2015. Naturally, his Instagram is filled with photos of the happy couple.

John Presser & Tara Durr

There must be something in the social media water because these “Bachelor/ette” alums first met via Facebook. Neither of them made it past the first round of their respective seasons but then found each other through a private Bachelor Nation Facebook page. Presser “friended” Durr and soon after, the two were planning a wedding for 550 of their mutual “friends” to attend.

“We actually would’ve never met if it wasn’t for the show,” Durr tells People. When he friended her, Durr says that her response was something like “Oh, you were a part of that crazy show, too? We just correspond back and forth for about two months before we met.” The couple welcomed their first child together, Warner Griffin, in 2012.
