The Kardashians are launching a new reality series based in the Big Apple.
After successfully “taking” Los Angeles and South Beach, two of the famous sisters are ready to give Gotham everything they’ve got in Kourtney & Kim Take New York — a spinoff to the wildly-successful reality series Keeping Up With The Kardashians and Kourtney & Khloe Take Miami, E! Online reports.
Kourtney and Kim, who have previously starred with their family in five seasons of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, are due to star in a new series about them living and working in the City That Never Sleeps. The new show will focus on the socialites’ efforts to open a third flagship store for their Dash clothing boutique. There’s also sure to be a focus on the relationship between Kourtney and Scott, which deteriorated over the last season of the Miami show due to Disick’s excessive partying and drinking.
The California Girls already seem to be settling comfortably into life in NYC.
“[10-month-old son] Mason, Kim, [boyfriend] Scott and I arrived in NYC. So excited for some fall in the Big Apple. No place better. Are you ready, NYC?” Kourtney wrote in an entry to her personal blog last week.
“Fireworks over the Brooklyn bridge! Welcome to NYC bayba baaaybay! (sic)” Kim Tweeted a short time later.
Younger sister Khloe Kardashian-Odom — Kourtney’s partner-in-crime down in South Beach for two seasons of Kourtney & Khloe — will remain on the West Coast as her husband, NBA star Lamar Odom prepares to defend his NBA title with the championship Los Angeles Lakers. She’s expected to make a few special appearances on the new spinoff.
Kourtney & Kim Take New York debuts in Jan. 2011 on E!
