15 Celebrity Weddings That Prove Love Was Alive and Well in 2016

We now pronounce 2016 one pretty romantic year.

While the past 12 months have featured its fair share of shocking breakups—do we need to mention Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie?!—there also were plenty of weddings to give pop culture fans a reminder that love is still in the Hollywood air.

Just this month alone, Becca Tobin and The Walking Dead star Steven Yeun said “I Do” to their respective partners.

And who can forget that Real Housewives of New York star Luann de Lesseps will be ending the year with a bang thanks to her New Year’s Eve wedding.

Ciara and Russell Wilson: Perhaps the biggest wedding of the year goes to the “I Bet” singer and Seattle Seahawks quarterback who tied the knot at the Peckforton Castle in Cheshire, England. 

Shia LaBeouf and Mia Goth: While visiting Las Vegas, the Hollywood stars appeared to say “I Do” at the Viva Las Vegas chapel. They were joined by onlookers including an Elvis Presley impersonator and a hula dancer.

Derek Jeter and Hannah Davis: The retired New York Yankees baseball player married the supermodel in July at the Meadowood Napa Valley Resort in St. Helena, Calif.

Anna Camp and Skylar Astin: Talk about an acca-awesome wedding! The Pitch Perfect co-stars said “I Do” on September 10 in front of family and friends. 

Robbie Amell and Italia Ricci: “About damn time,” Italia shared on Instagram after marrying The Flash star in October. “Thank you guys for all of the congrats and warm wishes! I dig being an Amell.”

Kym Johnson and Robert Herjavec: The Dancing with the Stars pro married the millionaire investor and Shark Tank star July 31 at the Four Seasons in Beverly Hills.

Katie Maloney and Tom Schwartz: Love really does rule! The Vanderpump Rules stars had cameras rolling as they professed their love for one another in Northern California. 

Grace Gealey and Trai Byers: The Empire co-stars tied the knot in a private ceremony near a mansion on Grand Cayman Island this April. 

Jade Roper and Tanner Tolbert: The Bachelor in Paradise stars proved that love can be found on the ABC series when they exchanged vows in front of Chris Harrison near Orange County, Calif. 

Michael Phelps and Nicole Johnson: Surprise! The Team USA athlete married his fiancé all the way back on June 13 in Maricopa County, Ariz. The news wasn’t revealed until days before Halloween. 

Eva Longoria and Jose Antonio Baston: Victoria Beckham, Ricky Martin and more stars traveled to Mexico in May to see the Desperate Housewives star get married in Valle de Bravo. 

Kevin Hart and Eniko Parrish: The comedian and actor became a husband after participating in a beautiful ceremony near Santa Barbara, Calif. in August. 

Audrina Patridge and Corey Bohan: The Hills alum married her longtime love and professional BMX rider during a romantic ceremony in Hawaii this past November. 

Adrienne Bailon and Israel Houghton: This is her time to shine! The Real co-host married the gospel singer in a stunning ceremony attended by close family and friends at the Hotel Plaza Athénéel in Paris. 

Mark Ballas and BC Jean: The Dancing With the Stars pro married his fiancé in a romantic ceremony attended by several co-stars one day after Thanksgiving.
