‘A Bunch of Elites’ Hunt Regular Folks for Sport

Hunting and killing people for sport is simply the newest craze of the higher class within the new trailer for the Blumhouse Productions launch “The Hunt.”

The trailer opens with “GLOW’s” Betty Gilpin knocking off two comfort retailer clerks in what she’s advised is “Arkansas,” solely to be taught that she and 11 different strangers have been kidnapped and delivered to a distant manor for this bloodsport. In the trailer, Gilpin seems to be like a badass — hopping a shifting practice, rolling over a man’s head with a automotive and crashing by a kitchen window in a combat with Swank. It’s an intense and disturbing first take a look at a thriller with some overtly topical themes.

Craig Zobel (“The Leftovers”) directs the movie from a script by Nick Cuse and Damon Lindelof (“Lost”). The movie stars Gilpin, Barinholtz, Swank and Emma Roberts and was produced by Jason Blum and Lindelof. Zobel, Cuse and Molen are government producers on the movie.
