Alissa Grayson Joins Warner Bros as EVP of Global Publicity
Alissa Grayson has been named government vice chairman of worldwide publicity at Warner Bros. Picture Group, a person with data of the scenario advised TheWrap.
Grayson has served as co-president of selling at STX Films since 2017 and can now reunite with former Universal Pictures colleague Josh Goldstine, who was lately appointed president of worldwide advertising at Warner Bros.
Grayson will report back to Goldstine and Johanna Fuentes, head of worldwide communications at WarnerMedia Studios and Networks Group. In her new position, Grayson will develop methods for each home and worldwide campaigns for movies from Warner Bros. and its labels New Line Cinema, DC Films and Warner Animation Group.
She will start her put up — vacated by Michelle Slavich in 2020 to guide publicity for movies, sequence and docs at Netflix — in June.
At STX, Grayson labored on titles together with “Hustlers,” “A Bad Moms Christmas,” “Molly’s Game” and “The Gentlemen.” Before her stint at STX, she labored at Universal for 22 years, most lately holding the place of government vice chairman of nationwide publicity. While there, she labored on campaigns for movies like “Despicable Me,” “Pitch Perfect,” “Fast & Furious” and the “Purge” sequence, in addition to “Les Miserables” and “Steve Jobs.”
Warner Bros.’ upcoming slate contains “In The Heights,” “Space Jam: A New Legacy,” “The Suicide Squad” and the latest installment of “The Matrix” franchise.
