Conan O’Brien will be joined by a familiar face when he returns to late-night TV on TBS next month.

Andy Richter, who left O’Brien’s NBC Late Night in 2000 to pursue an acting career, will join the now-bearded Coco when his TBS show — aptly-titled Conan — debuts Nov. 8 @ 11 PM. The foray will be the first time Conan has fronted his own program since stepping down as the face of The Tonight Show last Friday. Richter says he’s “thrilled” to be working with O’Brien and he’s most exited about “getting out of the house again.”

Conan sounded a bit less optimistic about the arrangement, jokingly quipping: “This decision was made without my authority. I will get to the bottom of this.”

In a collaboration that began Sept. 13, 1993, over the years, O’Brien and Richter have teamed for two late-night shows and a comedy tour.
