‘Arrow’ vs ‘American Ninja Warrior’: 6 challenges Stephen Amell would totally nail

Stephen Amell might be showing up on your TV as more than just Oliver Queen on “Arrow” this year. That is, if he actually gets his wish to appear on “American Ninja Warrior” to run one of their impossible obstacle courses.

Obviously, his CW character would make quick work of any and all obstacles put in his way, but we’re wondering if Amell would be able to complete the course so easily. Don’t get us wrong, Amell is ripped and clearly capable of some impressive acrobatics, but how well prepared is he … really?

Thanks to his “Arrow” training, we’re about 90 percent sure that he can complete at least these six obstacles, assuming they’re the ones chosen for his potential course. If you don’t believe us, just take a look at some of his crazy workout videos!

Silk Slider

We can’t even count the number of times Oliver has zip-lined from one building to the next on “Arrow.” Even without wires supporting him, we’re willing to bet Amell could master this challenge pretty easily.

Salmon Ladder

Come on, this one is a piece of cake. At this point, the Salmon Ladder is like a walk in the park for both Oliver and Amell. We’re not worried about this challenge in the least.

Quintuple Steps

Thanks to Stephen Amell’s parkour training, we’re going to guess that he’s got the balance and dexterity to leap from one slanted quintuple step, to the next. If Oliver Queen can jump rooftops in a single bound, Amell can jump these.

Warped Wall

Running straight up a wall might be Barry Allen’s area of expertise, but we’re pretty sure Stephen Amell can pull it off too. His height and straight up fearlessness will get the job done here.

Body Prop

Oliver Queen has definitely escaped a bad guy or two by suspending himself above their heads. But, we’re not sure he’s ever shimmied his way down a hallway like this before. Even still, we’d be interested to see if Stephen Amell can navigate the Body Prop.

Trapeze Rope Wall

This challenge is just a slightly more acrobatic version of the Salmon Ladder, right? We’ve got no worries about any sort of trapeze skills. Amell practically doubles as a flying squirrel most days on “Arrow,” anyway!
