If you still consider this year to be the most successful for Betty White, Golden Girl, you’ll have to be patient enough and to wait till next 2011 year.

It has become known to the press that Betty White, who appeared on TV as a host of Saturday Night Live, was called an Outstanding Guest Actress in Comedy for that live show at the 62nd Annual Primetime Emmy held this Thursday. It has been recently reported by BBC, that the ambitious star has designed a 2011 calendar to bring benefits to a wildlife charity fund – Morris Animal Foundation. The whole revenue from the royalties after selling this $12.99 calendar, which will already be available for sale in September, will go to the group as donations.

This 88-year-old star is posing with animals in front of the camera over the coming year.

Betty White, who is the star of Hot in Cleveland on TV Land at the moment, is not called by the wild for the first time. It has been reported that Antonio Villaraigosa, Los Angeles Mayor, has praised the veteran TV star for being an ambassador for the Los Angeles Zoo animals.
